Haemorrhoids, also called piles, are swollen veins in your anus and lower rectum, similar to varicose veins.

What are the causes of Hemorrhoids?

1-Pregnancy.
2-Severe chronic constipation.
3-Carrying heavy things.
4-Fast food especially that is low in fibres.
5-Ageing.
6-Obesity.
7-Sitting for long times and lack of movements.

What is the signs and symptoms of Hemorrhoids?

-Painless bleeding during bowel movements.
-Itching or irritation in your anal region.
-Pain or discomfort.
-Swelling around your anus.
-A lump near your anus.

What are kinds of Hemorrhoids?

-Internal haemorrhoids: These lie inside the rectum.External haemorrhoids: These are under the skin around your anus.

Then what is the treatment?

1-Conservative treatment:
*Using creams and ointment to relieve pain.
*Eating food rich in fibres and avoiding fast food.
*Weight loss.
*Avoid sitting for long periods and practising exercise.
*Warm water baths for relieving pain.

2-Hemorrhoidectomy, either by staple, open surgery, duplex or thermal frequency.
